When Charles Barger arrived in Lawton in 1989, he was dismayed when many companies told him that he was not qualified to buy a home.  Charles was determined to find a way to purchase a home and assist others with the same problem.  He not only found a way to buy his own home, he has purchased over 45-50 homes.  Charles' belief that anyone should be able to buy a home, no matter what roadblocks are in the way, has given him a fulfilling career here in Lawton.

Starting in a one-room office with only one self-employed agent, American Real Estate has grown to a building housing several offices and real estate agents and their newest 2-story 7200 sq. ft. location at 1810 N. Sheridan Rd.

In addition to assisting home buyers, American Real Estate has created a program for investors and developed a large clientele for purchasing investment properties.  They have a property management program for rentals, managing over 180 rental properties.

American Real Estate often assists customers when purchasing homes outside the Lawton area.  They manage several rental properties outside our area.  They can also refer clients to brokers in other states as well.  American is still finding ways to better help you buy your home.
